@mrfox67: For clarity, is your phone becoming unresponsive to touch interactions and button presses when it is idle for long periods? Is the issue only occurring when the phone is in your pocket?
In the meantime I recommend restarting your phone in Safe mode, as this will disable all third party apps and help to determine if the problem is stemming from an external source.
To enter Safe mode, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode.
With Safe mode active, monitor the performance of the device for a few hours, based on the frequency that you encounter the issue. If you find that the phone no longer becomes unresponsive, then please restart your Galaxy A15 as you would normally and uninstall any apps that you have added to the device since you first encountered the issue. It won't be possible to determine exactly which app is at fault, therefore I recommend approaching this via a process of elimination.

@alia15: The Galaxy A15 does not come with a pre-installed screen protector, however you may wish to try heading to Settings > Display > Touch sensitivity, and toggle this option on to see if you notice an improvement. Similarly, you may wish to try toggling off Accidental touch protection, as this protects your phone from accidental touches when it is a dark place, such as a pocket or bag. I also recommend restarting your phone (Press and hold the Side button > Restart) to resolve any software issues.
