Using pattern lock instead of fingerprint lock. Anyone else?

The fingerprint sensor on the S20 is so unbelievably awful... I actually dread having to unlock my phone because it takes 3 or 4 attempts every  time. Many times it just never works at all, this is using the screen protector that came fitted. 

I see no choice but to change to pattern lock

To use the fingerprint you need to master it in some sense.

The problem is that on the s10 plusni needed more than 6 month to understand how to put the finger correctly and even if it sounds stupid it is not easy at all.

Also try registering 4 fingerprints of your thumb each one at a different angle and then practise...

@LandoUK: If you have a screen protector on the S20, please trying going to Settings > Display > Touch Sensitivity > On, to raise the touch sensitivity of the screen. If the issue persists, please check the troubleshooting steps provided in the link below.

Thank you both. I've added the same finger 3 times and enabled screen sensitivity....seems to have improved things significantly!!
