6×6 pattern, invisible dots; can't unlock

Hello everyone!

I have a quite serious problem right now:

I currently have a very complicated 6×6 pattern, however the dots aren't visible, as I set this option some time ago, when I still had a 3×3 pattern. Because of that, I now can't unlock my Galaxy S9+ anymore. Does anyone have any ideas what I could do to regain access to it? I know I could do a Factory Reset, but that would be the least desired solution.

Thanks in advance for your answers!

Kind regards,
Luna H.

Hi,
Try restarting the device to refresh the lock screen. If the issue persists, check your lock screen settings for any disabled options like "Show unlock pattern" or "Unlock effect." If those are disabled, re-enable them. You can also try using Smart Lock (if enabled) or Find My Mobile to unlock your device remotely. If none of these work, you may need to factory reset your device as a last resort

Hi @xSteveuk,

Thank you for your answer! I tried restarting my device multiple times, however the problem is that the setting you mentioned is set to hide the dots. Because of that, I can't unlock and therefore can't re-enable them. That's my problem here.
