Hello, I am unable to make or receive calls have moved towards voLTE, however this has caused my handset to be unable to take or make calls, but can receive data and messages. Thus i have tried to search to through the mobile network and it simply isn't there. But due to my research my model of s9 (G960U) should be compatible and have the option of voLTE here.

Gee sounds like Telstra is all over the place. I wonder how many other people are confused and buying new phones unnecessarily because of the advice Telstra is giving them!

I think I agree with you that I'll take my chances and see what happens after 28 Oct, given my phone has 4G and 5G capability and has VoLTE icon on at the moment.

I don't really want to be spending a whole bunch of money on a new phone if I don't have to!!

Hi, The option to remove voLTE on my zflip 4 has disappeared. I'm using EE as my sim provider, does anyone have any suggestions?

Would you happen to know if this will work on the folder 2?

Quick look on GsmArena shows that Samsung Galaxy Folder2 does not have Band 28 (700Mhz) which is essential for 4G in Australia. So I doubt that it will work.

Hi all,

Been having an issue with my S7 Edge and the carrier has told me it's because of 3G masts being turned off. I can still make and receive calls but it can be sketchy. I have no option on my phone to turn on Volte which is what the carrier says I need.

So thankfully I came across this post where I'm hoping I can keep my good old S7 edge phone going. The first problem I've hit is when looking at my CSC code, it says it's "TEF" (Full CSC is "G935F TEF  8E UE1"but that doesn't appear on any lists at all and nothing on a Google search. Any idea why?

Thanks

What country are you in? Are you sure that is the correct CSC? Did you do *#1234#, and note the 6th, 7th,and 8th letters in the CSC at the bottom? Let us know.....

Hi,

I'm in the UK.

Yep, did *#1234# and on the 3rd line is CSC: G935FTEF8EUE1

Cheers

I would use the XEU firmware, as it is not carrier specific. I used the XSA in Oz for the same reason.

Good luck, and please report your results.

Hello friend,

I am in Australia, and was confused when my father's Telstra S7 kept working, but when Vodafone banned my mother's A10s, I transferred the sim to my old S7 but it wouldn't do VoLTE.

(Also, the A10s worked fine for a whole year after the Vodafone 3G shutdown, so it's asinine that it's getting banned now)

This thread, and your advice, has been invaluable, I followed the steps and flashed the OS, now the phone is working.

Really grateful this thread existed, with keywords like "S7" and "Australia".

Much thanks.

Kind regards,
Hanger556
