Hi can Anyone Help I have a Galaxy S20 ultra 5G and recently the screen did the common problem of going to an all white display restarting the phone was no help and you cannot make anything out on the screen what i need to know is how can i factory reset the phone to remove all my data before i get rid of the phone I looked into screen mirroring but i cannot see the phone screen at all to set anything up.

Hi and welcome 👋

Could try a multiport adaptor and connect it via HDMI to PC monitor or TV and navigate screen using USB mouse - I don't think it requires any additional settings to be toggled on for this.

Failing that, if you logged into a Samsung Account you could try using smart things find to do a remote erasure or could also try Google Find My Device to do the same.

Hi tried this but the screen is at full brightness and pure white/green cannot see anything

Thankyou OmegaMutant for your help did it via google and the phone is wiped thankyou i can now bung it on ebay as spares all it needs is a new display as its the common problem of the flex cable partly unbonding samsung are aware of this problem

Use scrcpy. Your oled is more then likely cracked im guessing.

The Oled is fine it is the common problem with the flex cable partially unbonding from the screen is is caused by heat apparently

Hello, I have two new S20 ultra phones, one is for the American market and the other is European, the American one shines strongly when the screen is completely darkened and spoils the image, and the European one does not dazzle when darkened and has a nice image, what is wrong with the American one?
