Can anyone help please? I have just bought a reconditioned S10 after dropping my original one. It's fine except it does not have wifi calling or an option for it . It was there on my old phone with same Sim. My provider has had me do various checks none if which made any difference. They now say it is because it is made for the US market and does not have the option. They say I need to change the phone. The people I bought it from say yes all their phones were for US market originally but that I need to change provider not the phone. Help please

Hi there, have you tried to phone your network provider and ask them if it's enabled by them?

@caro7815: Due to software and hardware variances that exist in our phones from region to region, you may experience compatibility issues with some apps and features when using a device outside its intended country. Wi-Fi Calling is a network enabled setting, and is typically activated via the Phone app > 3 dots > Settings > Wi-Fi Calling > On.

If your network has advised that Wi-Fi Calling can't be activated due to the phone being a US model, then this is likely to be the case, as they are in the best position to advise on this matter.

So the seller should refund me instead of telling me to change carrier?

Have a look in your network's app to see if there is an option to turn it on there also @caro7815

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

@caro7815: To avoid compatibility issues, I would recommend seeking a refund, and making sure to purchase a device which is intended for use in the UK (assuming that this is where you are currently based). You may also wish to speak with your network to enquire about which devices currently support Wi-Fi Calling, to avoid any potential disappointment.
