Samsung calendar on home screen gone

Hello after the latest update.. the calendar on my home screem when i swipe to the left was gone. Any idea how to have it back?

Do you know if it was a calendar widget you were using? If so hold your finger down on your homescreen until you see settings come up. At the bottom you will see widgets. Click on it and add a calendar widget. Or go to your calendar icon, hold your finger down, you can add calendar app icon to home screen or click on widgets from there.

What if the calendar isn't showing as a widget to add?

I have had a similar thing happen where the calendar icon has completely disappeared from my home screen. However, I can't work out how to add the icon back to the home screen as it doesn't show as an App.
