S7 Edge FRP problem

Hi,

I have an S7 Edge that I loaned to my father a few years ago but, unfortunately, he passed away leaving said phone behind. I want to donate the phone, as it is still in perfect working order, but have an issue with FRP meaning that I can't login to the phone. I've tried pretty much everything to try to get past the Google Account but no success. My dad's account is unrecognised by FRP when trying to login, let alone any password which, by the way, I obviously don't have! Can anybody help me to get past this and enable me to login, at least, then maybe I can remove any Google account information via the settings? It does seem such a shame to waste a perfectly good phone that someone can make use of. Thank you, in advance, for any assistance that you can provide.

Update: I seem to have found the correct Google account but still don't have the password. I've tried multiple ones but none recognised. If I do Forgot Password then I'm not sure I'll get any notification because the phone number is obsolete as are his email addresses 🥵

You'll need to confirm the correct details to be able to set the phone up again.

Could call Samsung Support and maybe an engineer can flash the phone software but you'll be charged for it and you'll need proof of purchase too.

Ironically I just tried in vein for the 12 th odd time in many years to do this with an old S6 Edge, but failed.

Tried every method from password reset, ADB tools, 3rd party software all failed.
