Is anyone else getting exposure issues when taking photos with the sky in, tried it with HDR switched on and off but made no difference. Really bad photos the comedy sky colour was way too blue and horrible, looked like a cheap filter not a photo taken from a £1200 phone. Attached 2 photos, I'm not in the Caribbean so you might spot the weirdly blue sky out of the 2 photos. Come on Samsung it's your flagship phone, have you not had enough issues in recent times without this. How blue can you make the sky??
What the sky just about looked like!

Still trying to figure out this phone. For now I am getting better daylight pictures by turning off scene optimization, switching to pro mode, then put saturation -4 and white balance +1000. Now, pictures look more natural, on the quality level of an iphone 4S!! I did set the phone to record raw pictures, I will check whether the raw data is any good when I upload them to Lightroom.

Strange - I don't have issues with blue colours, but I find that sunset pictures often have a purple tint to them. I was thinking it was not recording yellows correctly.

Yep, that looks like a different issue related to low light photography. I have seen the golden hour turn purple in low sensitivity sensors which try to guess the color, miss it and result in purple tints. I have been able to correct some of it with white balance but ymmv.

I have the exact same issue. The phone camera ruins photos - can't see the natural colours in the sky, rocks, grass. It's horrible, I feel totally lied to by samsung. It's a terrible camera.

Thanks. I find the camera application clumsy to use and lacking features. Eg, Why can't I store different Pro settings by name? Then I could easily select them without having to remember the settings each time, like Star-shots, evening, bright day-time, etc. Are there other camera apps that people recommend to replace the Samsung one?

I am absolutely have the same issue. Blues and greens are way to unnatural. I notice it most when there is a clear contrast with any other object (building) or (yellow leaves). Even the shadows have an exaggerated blue.
My guess it has to be the software given that they are not giving us any way to control the color settings.
I see a slight improvement when shooting in 'Pro' mode but feel that the exaggerated blue color still persists. I also think that my old S8 camera was put out some of the best pictures from any Samsung I've owned to date. Might just have to return the phone and go back to my simple yet trustworthy S8.
Or turn to the Darkside and get an IPhone...

I have the same problem; the front camera is not affected by this issue. (Galaxy S21+ Exynos)
(Galaxy S21+ left, iPhone 6s right)
The issue only happens with Samsung's Camera App, taking the pictures from Adobe Lightroom shows proper colours.
(Samsung camera left, Adobe Lightroom right):
Grey surfaces + low light + white balance between 4500-5000K.
(Increased saturation in both for easier spotting)
