Camera Issues after latest update

Has anyone else had issues with their camera not working after this latest update?  I have an S21 and it will not open the camera for the biometrics and I can't use it in messenger either.  

If someone knows of a setting I need to change that would be great.  Thanks!

I've not had any issues from recently updating my phone @Renee8 in regards to the Biometrics. 

Face recognition works fine. 

Try deleting that part of your set up and then reset it back up. 

First try a soft reboot by turning the phone Off and On. 

If necessary then try clearing the cache of the phone. 

> Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's } 

As a last resort back up and factory reset.

I've had the same issue, probably a software bug because when i shutdown and open my phone, front camera work again, then after 5 min of use it fails again and show camera failure message. Crazy that they still haven't fixed that

Thanks so much for your reply.  I tried everything except a factory reset.  And after I deleted my biometrics I can't add a new picture because my rear camera won't work.  I'm not super enthused about having to back everything up, redownloading my apps and having to set up my phone again.

I downloaded a new camera app and it works for my front camera but my back camera still won't work.  This new update still hasn't fixed the issue.
