S21 Power saving mode not turning on

I'm trying to turn on power saving mode but it keeps saying "can't change this setting in demonstration mode"

@Prize chakma Hello, you may have demo mode activated. To deactivate it, go to Developer options and deactivate this option. To activate Developer options go to Settings / About phone / Software information and click 7 times on the Build number option, a message will appear that the Developer Options has been activated. Go back and you will find it.

I've checked, demo mode isn't enabled.

I have the same error message. If I access developer options and make sure demo mode is not enabled, I still can't access power saving mode.

Hopefully Samsung can fix this.

@McDariel : Are you seeing the same error/notification as the original poster? If you press the Volume Down and Power buttons together for around 10 seconds until the phone restarts, then check again, does the issue persist? (don't worry, this won't affect your personal data or settings).

My s21+ was the international version. I'm unsure if the seller had set up the phone incorrectly or refurbished it and placed it in a strange mode, but eventually I returned it because I was having other issues. Since I bought SM-G996B instead everything worked fine.  Hopefully AndrewL's solution works for you.
