Post update of January's security update I have an app that crashes every time on start. No self remediation effort (restart, reinstall, etc) works. Anyone else experiencing this? Please help?

Which app is being affected @Mkd1919 ?
Have you tried clearing its cache via Settings, apps, choose the app, storage, clear cache and if absolutely necessary clear data.
Also try https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ disables downloaded apps, themes and other launchers to help determine if one or more is causing conflict.

The app is Guns of Glory. The phone itself is stable. It is only the app that doesn't load since the update. I have tried a number of things including everything you mentioned above and a complete Uninstaller and reinstall of the app.

Something was updated since I last attempted yesterday and the application is now working. Very strange as no communication was made.
