I don't know why, but as of mid-January 2024, my Samsung Clear View Cover no longer works together with my Samsung Galaxy 21 FE.
I ran the Hall sensor test in the diagnostics menu - successful. I passed the test with the Clear View Cover, but it also works with other magnets. However, the mobile device does not go into standby when cover is closed, but always remains active.
I've done all the reboot scenarios and reset all the apps - to no avail. In the end, I reset the whole device to factory settings and reinstalled all content - but the phone still doesn't respond to closing the cover and stays alive all the time.
I believe the issue occurred since the Samsung January update. Since then, maybe there's an app or setting that's new and I've overlooked? Can anyone help me?
