I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 that I didnt use for a couple of months (before it had a Three sim card). I got a new sim card from O2 but when I start this phone, I still get the (very anoing) Three boot animation. Same happens on shutdown. How can I cancel this Three animation?

Thank you very much. Any help will be highly apreciated.

If the phone was supplied by the 3 Network then they may have this baked into the phone which probably cannot be removed.

A phone supplied directly by Samsung UK would never have any start up like this @KingWillie

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask.  😎

Thank you very much for your help @BandOfBrothers.

Do you think that I can at least put a different animation? I had some issues with Three so, although I'm not switching off my phone that often, just knowing that I will see that animation again, makes me want to punch someone.😊

The funny thing is that this didnt happen with my wife's phone (Galaxy S22). Supplied by Three but with a O2 sim card now, it never shows the Three animation or even the O2 animation, if there is one.

Maybe because my O2 sim card is a "Pay-As-You-Go" and my wife is on a 24 months contract.

Anyway, once again, thank you so much,I really appreciate the time you took to help me.

Not without having to mess with the Core Files, I think, which I wouldn't advise doing @KingWillie

You can find out more on xdadevelopers.com.

Personally I'd look past up the start up animation.

It used to be the case before Samsung KNOX and bootloader protection. You could replace the start up files fairly straight forward. Now it takes a bit of tinkering and breaking of the core system.

This is not the place to discuss this.
