Hi there 👋 and welcome, your could go to settings>apps> camera force stop it and see if it's any better, if not you could perform wipe cache partition by turning your phone off plugging to PC, macbook etc then press and hold power and volume up buttons until samsung logo appears then quickly release power button and keep holding volume up until in reboot mode then navigate using volume down button to wipe cache partition press power button and see if that would help

@dixit reddy: To troubleshoot the issue, please start by pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons together for around 10 seconds, as this will perform a Soft Reset, and resolve any temporary software issues. Don't worry, this won't affect your personal data or settings.

If the issue persists, then please head to Settings > Apps > Camera > Force stop > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data. I also recommend heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install, followed by Settings > Security and privacy > Updates > Security update, to ensure that your phone is fully up to date. Furthermore, open the Galaxy Store > Tap the 3 lines in the bottom right > Updates, and install any available updates for the Camera app.

If you continue to see the 'Camera failed' error, then please head to the Samsung Members app > Support > Phone diagnostics > Camera, and follow the on-screen prompts. If you see an 'Action required' notification in the summary at the end of the test, then please reach out to the Support Team in your region to arrange an engineer's inspection. I appreciate that you have already been in touch, however if you are outside the 24 month warranty period then a charge will be applicable to cover the cost of the service any any necessary repairs.

I found a work around. I downloaded an app called Ai capture. It allows you to manually select which camera you want to use before it launches it.

I've noticed that with mine, everything but the rear secondary camera labeled as hardware 2, the one that's the 100x, and it will work.

Other than that, someone at Samsung dropped the ball.
