S20 Lost photos/videos

I have a Samsung S20 which I have had for around a year now. I noticed a few days ago that alot of my older pics/videos had disappeared. Today I have noticed even more have gone. I havn't deleted them and they are not in my deleted folder. Is there anyway of finding where they have gone or if I can get them back

I've seen this happen a lot.
The image gallery samsung
Is not the place to store images
Have a look in Google photos
You may find some lost images

Pictures in the My Files app are missing from the Gallery

I use Google photos
And l use amazon photos
If you use amazon prime
You get free amazon photos storage

Did you sign upto OneDrive when Samsung stopped backing up photo's in their Samsung Cloud @Jade8782  ?

If so look in there.

I appreciate photo's are precious as they capture that special moment etc.

Personally I Auto backup my taken photo's into Dropbox.
