I've just upgraded my phone and I need to factory reset my s20fe coz my mate is having it. Can't do it via general management coz I don't have access to the email address. I tried vol down and side buttons but no joy. Any ideas please people?

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

Please note the reason why the menu won't be popping if you dont have the device plugged into a pc/laptop. Its a safety measure.
1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the Volume up, Home, and Power buttons.
3. Release the Power button when the device vibrates.
4. Keep holding Volume up and Home until the Android system recovery menu displays.
5. Scroll down to find Wipe data/factory reset.
6. Press the Side button to start the reset.

Please note youll need to remove your google account first, or it will ask for it even after a factory reset
1. Open Settings
2. Tap Accounts and backup
3. Tap Manage accounts
4. Select your Google account
5. Tap Remove account
6. Tap Remove account again to confirm
