Hi, I've been experimenting with DeX as a desktop replacement and can't help notice the following when trying to use it in place of a Windows desktop.
- Lack of 120hz/High refresh rate support
The following for the Samsung internet beta DeX environment.
- Dragging a tab from the browser onto the desktop to create a new window
- Dragging a tab from one window to another window (other web browsers in DeX have this).
The big one being the lack of high refresh rate support at any resolution - makes the DeX experience feel more sluggish when compared to a full desktop or even the phone's own high refresh rate screen.

Gaming. Also your internal screen already supports it so whats the problem?
If you dont want it dont use it

Pleaseeee, this would be huge for gaming and emulation. My fold is already amazing for gaming, being able to do that on a external screen would be perfect.

If phone's screen support 120 Hz, DeX also should. Please bring high refresh rate.

Geforce now will stream AAA games at 120hz. All the processing power is at the server side and not on the phone

Agreed. It would be a massive improvement. Can't beleive there isn't an option to change in the developer options.

Please add the 120hz support for Dex. It's been far too long and this would greatly improve the gaming experience.

Hi all,
I have been waiting for 120fps on dex for gaming and its almost 2years now. Finally I got a new phone redmagic 10pro, and it has everything a mobile gamer wants. You guys can check it's reviews on YouTube. I am using it for the past month.
It has 120fps in screen mirroring and gaming mode with mobile screen off and much more.

That's a great idea, thanks.

TLDR: To anyone wondering. Galaxy Phones with GoodLock module easly do like 2560x1440 170Hz, BUT whole UI is limited to 60Hz. No matter what display You connect UI will do only 60Hz.
This can be verified at https://www.testufo.com/refreshrate.
It's a shame because Your built in display is doing 3088 x 1440 120Hz on daily basis.
