Outlook Calendar and Contacts won't synch

New S23 replaces my beloved A20. trying to set Outlook.com as my default calendar and contacts. Added it to Outlook and both calendar and contacts show up fine, but when I try to add the account to the Contacts or Calendar apps it says the account is already connected to outlook. How do I set this account as my default?

Hi, and welcome to the UK community

Don't know what calendar app you are using but if Samsung then ensure your accounts are toggled on in its settings under 'Manage calendars'

Hi Robin. I'm using the default Calendar app that came with the phone. Having added the account to Outlook, it won't add to the Calendar app as it says it's already added to Outlook. Not a lot of help

Sounds like the native Samsung Calendar. Have you tried using Google Calendar as an alternative?

However, if your Outlook account is already added to the phone (accounts & backup>Manage accounts), then it is just a case of ensuring it is added to the Calendar app you happen to be using.

Hi Robin. I've no idea what I've done differently, but it appears to be working now. I deleted all the accounts from Outlook and just re-added the outlook.com. Now I'll re-add the other accounts and hope it continues to work. Cheers
