All of my Samsung Calendar events have disappeared apart from my contacts birthdays (this includes events/public holidays saved on Google and those that come with Samsung Calendar).

Is there anyway to recover this (I don't have Samsung Calendar backup switched on)
And a reason to why this has happened?

(Also a few my contacts have been randomly deleted, if there is any connection to this issue).

Maybe some of your contacts/calendars were saved in your Google Account? You can resync Google and see if that helps. https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/2840875?hl=en-GB

You can turn on/off calendars in Manage Calendar settings. Open calendar app » Tap Hamburger Menu (Top left) » Manage Calendars

Hi willjcran, somehow all the events/contacts returned miraculously? 😅 I'm definitely going to sync/back them up with Samsung Cloud and Google. Thanks for the help anyway!

Hi, apologies mine just came back by itself somehow, took a few days. Maybe you have a backup somewhere? If it does return always backup everything on Samsung Cloud

I'm having this same issue repeatedly where Samsung Calendar sends all events to the recycle bin (but public holidays remain)

@roza4: Are they completed events, events that are scheduled for a later date, or both? If you tap the 3 lines in the top left of the Calendar app > Recycle bin, are you able to recover the events, and does the problem re-occur following this step?

In the meantime, please try heading to Settings > Apps > Calendar > Force stop > Storage > Clear cache, then restart your device. I also recommend checking the Google Play Store and Galaxy Store for any updates for the Calendar app which might address the issue.
