"Media Volume Sync" option missing

Hello dear community,
I recently bought a new bluetooth device and I tried the max volume, how ever this seemed far too low and I knew it had something to do with the Media Volume Sync option in the advanced bluetooth settings. I immediately noticed that this setting was missing as shown below: 

I tried to turn off the "Absolute volume" in Developer settings but it did not change anything.

This helped me solve the problem with my left bud volume being low since I lost the right one thank you so much

Maybe it depends on the brand of phone because my stepdaughter has the OnePlus and Media volume was grey and not an option. So I had to go to developer setting and enable absolute volume
