Hi guys,
I have a really weird problem.
Since last week, shortly after I updated my phone, I have had complaints from people I call to, that they hear themselves talking to me, an echo of them voice.
I have the phone from February and before that I did not have such a problem until last week.
I shook myself in various forums, but I do not find a similar problem and its solution. Please help, because it is terribly annoying. As a primary solution, I have reduced my microphone to a minimum and so the echo is very weak and almost invisible, but from the other side do not hear me very well.

I am suffering from this problem from last 2 months ever since I got my phone new.
It only happens on a carrier phone call, not on calls through WhatsApp or messenger. It could be a problem with the software or maybe the network antenna something.
I called the customer service for Canada and they created a service ticket for me where I can send them the phone and they can fix it and send it back to me.

I am having a similiar problem. Everytime, I call someone, they tell me they get feedback of hearing their own voice. Its really annoying. Its worse with the speaker on. I am considering changing phones. Disappointing because Samsung was always the best.

You marked this as solved. This is NOT solved and is still a MAJOR ISSUE for CLEARLY many people. Restarting your phone is NOT a solution, but a temporary bandaid that doesn't even work all the time. This is grounds for a lawsuit against Samsung. ADDRESS THIS.

Nope, issue is not fixed and phone restart is a band aid.....never again will I buy a Samsung phone.

I too am having the echo problem. It's extremely frustrating!!!!! What is the fix for this issue? I do not want to put my phone in safe mode every time I want to have a phone conversation.

Shelly - you really need to go back to page 1 and start reading. But the synopsis is that the problem seems mostly to occur when folks are making calls using the Wi-Fi mode. Turning off the Wi-Fi calling mode seems to get rid of the problem.
Of course, now you're at the mercy of whatever RF cellular signal you can receive at your specific location - which for a lot of us is rather poor, hence the reason for using Wi-Fi calling mode.
If you have to stick with Wi-Fi calling, then rebooting the phone seems to help on a very temporary basis. This is what I do.
There is no current fix for this issue from Samsung. That's the real frustration. That's why I said go back and start reading from the beginning of this thread.

I have even tried removing wifi calling and also removed the wifi connectivity for testing but still the issue persists. Yes its frustrating and feel stuck with this device for some time now till i move to its competitor.... good luck everyone.
