Prevent blocked calls and messages from being logged or stored

Is there an app or method to prevent blocked messages and calls from being logged in call history or sent to a separate text message folder ? I do not want access or the ability to view later the calls and/or messages from numbers I have blocked.  The "blocking" feature seems useless if correspondence still reaches my phone.

On the phone calls if you open the phone app - tap recents then tap the 3 dots at top right hand side there is then an option to " hide " blocked calls
Am not sure about the messages

There is no way to prevent this.
