I've had my s21 ultra a little over a month and the camera sucks, I may as well have kept my pixel 2xl

It really does suck. Ive seen full res pics from other phones that are several years old and they blow the s21 ultra out of the water. This is the last $ samsung will get out of me. I bought it specifically for the camera and the camera sucks. As soon as Im able to, Im getting rid of this POS !

Got the same bad results from S21+. Outdoor photos are fine, but indoors is a complete mess. Skin looks smudgy, hair with no details, overall oil paint effect. This has been going on for years, the worst image processing I've seen on a smartphone. Samsung just does not care since a lot of users have been complaining about this garbage camera processing for years now.

For me outdoors photos are a disaster. Real mess. I have paid 1300 euros for this phone and is garbage compared with my old pixel 4.

I am really disepointed . I come from an old pixel 4 wich had instant shutter, not focus time and what so ever. 10 photos, 10 was perfect. This s21 Ultra , from 10 photos , 9 are bad. I have bringed my phone in waranty, they changed the camera module and the back of the phone, same problem, 108mp camera is almost usless. lacks of clarity. i have no idee how the hell this phone got so good review for camera. Just seen the photo thread from this forum. People doesnt see that most of the pics are washed? Really disapointed. I will never preored a phone again.

Just got to play around with this camera for about a half hour today, initial thoughts are it's extremely disappointing. I'll have to check image resolution settings because nothing came out well, most of it looked like watercolor. One of those sensors with a high megapixel number that can't capture enough detail to fill even half of those pixels is what it looks like.
The video camera is even worse. Random stutter when moving the camera in any direction, or when the camera is stationary and objects in frame move they will jump frames randomly. Same problem I've had for years with my Galaxy S7 Edge, but maybe even worse. It's not mismatched frames because it's not happening at regular intervals. You can see it in the viewfinder even when you are taking photos.. seems like the sensor data being streamed to the buffer is choppy so everything that goes to memory is choppy just the same. Whatever I see in the "viewfinder" when taking a video is exactly what I see in the final rendered file, skips jumps and all. Why doesn't Samsung make an effort to correct this s***?
Also how was this camera so highly reviewed? If I can get it working any better I'll report back but I'm not hopeful and if I can't get it worked out in the next couple of days it's going back to the Verizon store permanently and I'm shopping for a different brand.

Same thin here with an s21 5g.
Note 9 has better quality.
Have a look at both pictures below
i did compare with note 20 ultra and zfold 3
Note 20 ultra and zfold 3 have better image quality than s21

I went to T-Mobile yesterday too check out the 22 ultra. They have the phone locked to the table with a white piece of paper behind the camera so you cant test it. So they definitely know there's a problem. I got the 21 Ultra, and two weeks later I took it back to the store and got an LG. I would rather spend $500 if I'm going to have a ***** phone. I guess it's time to look for other phone options. What I am most confused about is why all of the YouTube reviewers are saying that this is so good, its trash...

Yes every picture sucks. Suppose to be altimate pictures from these 5 cameras . I can't even zoom into a bird on a tree that's maybe 20 feet away without it being blurry or grainy. I think I should not have to pay 2 grand for a phone and be able to take decent pics

I have this issue on G998BXXU4CVD2 firmware ref: https://doc.samsungmobile.com/sm-g998b/xeo/doc.html
What the heck is this? My old s10+ had more detailed photos with lower resolution.
