Phone update, had caused error S9

Hi

Does any one know how to fix this problem please, 

My phone did an update and now every time i go into my contacts list to call someone I get an error message and have to close the app !

Have you tried to clear the Contacts app cache and data following the steps provided above? If so, the next step would be a Factory Reset, before this, we would strongly recommend backing up your data. yes tried the above and still issue happens
