I have an S20 Ultra and I can no longer synch my photos from my SD card to the OneDrive Camera Roll folder. It will only sync from internal storage to a new folder called Camera and this becomes a hassle because of limited space on the internal storage and requires constant moving around of pictures and videos. I'm wondering if anyone here knows of a work around to some how get the SD card to sync again with OneDrive photos. I bought this phone mainly because of the camera and this is very dissappointing.

Signing out of one drive then back in after removing Samsung access was the key for me.  All is back to normal.  Horrible experience..

The One Drive integration in gallery is terrible and utterly redundant. One Drive app and syncing work perfectly directly through OneDrive. Including SD upload.

Just Unlink from Microsoft  here https://account.microsoft.com/ download the OneDrive app and use that instead.

You must unlink your samsung account first at https://account.microsoft.com/

Then redownload OneDrive and logg inn using your Microsoft account.

Sadly, as many of you may now be aware, Samsung are closing Samsung Cloud and moving backup services to OneDrive.
I received an email asking me to migrate by June so, as instructed I did. As I was already a OneDrive user and the SD card was INCLUDED in the backup I didn't anticipate any issues.
Now I have no longer have a backup for my SD card!

I am hoping I can switch back to Samsung (I suspect they may have closed this avenue). Even if I can revert, Samsung/Microsoft need to fix this omission ASAP.
SO frustrating that this issue had been flagged last year and they didn't fix it before going down this avenue!!!

I am completely lost...

I have an S20+. And since 29/12/2020 it stopped uploading photos from the camera stored in the SD card to my OneDrive.

I had no samsung account.

Following all the threads in samsung comunity I ended up creating one!!! Bad luck. Anyway... I don't have it linked anymore to My Microsoft Account... it doesn't show up in my security or other apps and devices. And on my mobile I logged off from my samsung account and in my laptop samsung account I remove the hotmail account.

I also went to mobile definitions and under Accounts I chose the onedrive and activated the Sync to all multimedia.

Then I went to OneDrive App and activated under Me>definitions >Camera Upload

I checked the additional folders. Somehow I have 2 "camera" folders (one from internal storage and the one from the SD card). They are both checked.

However when I choose "photos" on OneDrive App it appears the message that the Uploading is in pause because I need to give access to photos and multimedia files to active it. And under that there is "Activate". I press and confirm and it opens definitions of the Onedrive APP... and all is allowed (Camera, Contacts, Memory, Mobile)!!!

I've lost more than 4 hours on this and I am still completely lost!...

So sad that there is no backup of my photos and videos for 2 months... I'll have to do it manually...and I spent so much money on a new phone and it happened this 😞

Thank you so much if you can orient me to solve this problem!

I'm not in anyway an expert but the Camera folder in my situation was linked to the the Samsung Gallery app. probably the same in your situation. What I would try first is to go to the Gallery App settings on the phone and make sure the cloud sync is turned off. Then go to OneDrive and sign out and sign in again and re-activate uploading. I don't think it's possible to reinstall OneDrive at least it isn't on my S20 Ultra. I would try these steps first if you haven't already. In one drive I also transferred all my photos from the "camera" folder to the "camera roll" folder then deleted the "camera" folder. Hope this helps. If I see or think of anything else I'll pass it on to you.
