I'm not receiving email notifications on my new s21 this has only just started happening and was working fine before, I have my email linked with Gmail. I have checked all the notification settings in the app and on the phone and everything is set correctly. Any ideas?
I am having the same problem. I am using Outlook on my Galaxy to receive my emails. I get notifications from my Gmail account, but not my Bt account. Very annoying.
I have had this problem on every Android I've owned. What finally worked for me is this. Go to settings tap apps tap Gmail and make sure battery setting is set to unrestricted.
I have had this issue with every Android phone I owned for 2 years now. Go to settings then apps then Gmail battery settings and make sure it's on unrestricted. On all my phones I always got my text messages but not my emails. I just checked the battery setting on messages and it was on unrestricted. This should solve your problem by making sure your battery settings are on unrestricted for any app you want to receive messages from. Truly frustrated myself!
Speaking from 3 years in the future: this Gmail/battery usage seemed to help. In hindsight, I stopped getting gmail notifications when I adjusted battery usage to power saver before traveling.
