@SUPERBRUNO @AshNeedsHelp: Can you double check that Google Pay is selected as your default payment option via Settings > Connections > NFC and Contactless Payments > On > Contactless Payments > Google Pay. If it is, toggle on 'Pay With Currently Open App' to see if this helps.

@SUPERBRUNO There are not many options. Factory reset will tell you for sure that this could be a bug that could be fixed in SAT or with a firmware update.
I recommend you send
bug report from Samsung Members / Help / Reports
error / Application, stating the problem and checking the box
Send system log data.
to analyze the failure and answer you within a reasonable time.

Have this problem too - start d speadically at first and two weeks later, it is so bad I cannot use it at most shops I visit. Have to revert back to my pixel 4 XL when I go out!

I think this might be a bug. Have S20 and it was working fine until I upgraded to Android 14 now suddenly it stopped working. Can't even turn it on

Hi i also have had the same issues but i may have stubble on the issue. Press on nfc which brings up a menu for selected payments mine was on anything so i selected Google pay this might be the issue but I haven't tried it yet to see.
