NFC not working

Hey guys.

My s22 ultra NFC suddenly stop working every time I use Google pay just doesn't do nothing.

What can I do to make it work again?

I have the same problem on my Galaxy s20 FE. Just suddenly nfc stopped working. (Maybe with android 12 update? - timing somewhat fits actually) 

Tried restarting, re selecting the default payment app, trying nfc in safe mode (still nothing), and un/reinstalling my banking app i use for nfc. Still nothing. 

Im gonna try full reset on the weekend, but this is annoying.

Same with me. Just bought an s22 Ultra and transferred my stuff across from my old s8 using Smart Switch. NFC is not working as yet even though it says it is.

My issue was resolved after i selected google pay as preferred payment in nfc

Solved my problem by removing a magnet phone mount i had attached to the back of the phone. Turns out it was covering the nfc reader. Now i installed on the case instead and the nfc is working.

I have an Xcover Pro bought used from a phone dealer on eBay. Super nice phone but the NFC would not work with G-pay or near phone transfers. I went through hell figuring out what was wrong! THE BATTERY ! Turns out the NFC antenna is located inside the battery and the dealer installed a generic battery that didn't have the antenna! If your NFC seems ok but just cannot connect with other devices... check your battery, if it doesn't say "near field communications" on it... that is your problem. Get a real Samsung battery... and make sure it says near field communications on it. Problem solved !
