was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out with this as i habe recently started to have an issue on my s20fe 5G where the phone does not pick any cellular signals and even if it does, it instantly drops it. it was working perfectly fine until 2 months ago and instantly started to have this issue.

I know its not the sim because i inserted the sim in other phone and it started to work.

Any info on this would be appreciated or any solution would be huge.

thankyou

Hi @Hanan001 Welcome to the Samsung Community
Is there are any difference if you use 5G preferred or 4G/LTE? Go to Settings-Connections-Mobile Networks-Access point Names- tap the 3 dots(Menu Bar) on the top right and Reset.
However you may need to reset the Network conections which will enable the Netwotk to send updated settings. Go to General Management-Reset, can Reset Mobile Network Settings or All Settings. I would reboot afterwards, another idea is to try a soft Reset, hold the Power and volume Down Buttons simultaneously until the Device Reboots, this resets the memory. sometimes switching Airplane Mode off and Rebooting can help.
Samsung though ended all support for this Device recently. https://www.sammobile.com/news/samsung-galaxy-s20-fe-software-updates-end/

ok thanks for confirming,  some other ideas-  Go to Connections-More Connection Settings-Private DNS-  Generally best set to Automatic.  However could try swiyching to off.   Go to Settings-Connections-Mobile Networks- Access Point Names. Tap on cog .  proxy should not be set, if any text edit.

An idea to  try Safe Mode and if ok there would pinpoint recent third party apps https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/

you could also try clearing the cache partition :

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

Factory Reset would be last resort, obviously need to back up.

However if to no avail  think you would need to contact support.

This is likely an update issue. Has your phone been recently updated to Android 16?

Think the only option would be to see if Support can help, unless you wish a more modern Device.
