New Update UI 6.1 touch screen unresponsive on S21

After installing the latest update on both phones (S21 5G and S21 5G Ultra 512 GB 16 RAM) the touchscreen became unresponsive. I noticed that the date automatically was changed on both phones to 3rd May 16.00.

The only thing that is working are sides buttons. 

I managed to start the recovery console using:
 1. Side button + Volume down to restart the phone
2. Then very quick I change to Side button + Volume up

I wiped the cache partition and also performed a factory reset on S21 5G but unfortunately did not solve the issues. The only change is that the phone is starting the setup (with a padlock locked on top left corner) a new phone but I cannot interact to set it up.

I assume that the main and major issues are with UI.6.1

Is there anything I can do for downgrading the android/UI and recover the information I have on S21 Ultra?

I hope that there is a quick solution as it is so frustrating for having two top phones and to not be able to use any of them. At the moment I'm lucky to have an A70 with older android and UI but I'm thinking of leaving Samsung after many years and products and not buy any other.

Hello ,

Following the last test I made seems that this is the ugly truth. In my opinion the last update was made for getting away the 3rd party parts.

As I couldn't find anything to downgrade the softaware ( UI 6.1 ver B) I bought an genuine Samsung touchscreen and replaced the 3rd party one. My phone is now up and running without changing any other setting for Google app that Samsung points for getting aways with this major ethical issue. Shame on you Samsung.

Now my Samsung S21 Ultra 512GB & 16GB Ram is working perfect with Android 14, UI 6.1 and last firmware update from Samfw.

I bought mine on Rakuten, brand new US version, there is not supposed to be any 3rd party part in it.

By rooting, Knox & other function will disable.  Will be permanent

Samsung sells more than 200 millions phones each year, it looks like this issue is small enough for them to ignore it.  I wish it would draw more attention but it doesn't.
Seems like we are left with the hope that 6.1.1 will fix it at some point in September 😕

I have cleared Google's cache and data, force stopped and disabled it, restarted the phone, and still no touchscreen.
