New Update UI 6.1 touch screen unresponsive on S21

After installing the latest update on both phones (S21 5G and S21 5G Ultra 512 GB 16 RAM) the touchscreen became unresponsive. I noticed that the date automatically was changed on both phones to 3rd May 16.00.

The only thing that is working are sides buttons. 

I managed to start the recovery console using:
 1. Side button + Volume down to restart the phone
2. Then very quick I change to Side button + Volume up

I wiped the cache partition and also performed a factory reset on S21 5G but unfortunately did not solve the issues. The only change is that the phone is starting the setup (with a padlock locked on top left corner) a new phone but I cannot interact to set it up.

I assume that the main and major issues are with UI.6.1

Is there anything I can do for downgrading the android/UI and recover the information I have on S21 Ultra?

I hope that there is a quick solution as it is so frustrating for having two top phones and to not be able to use any of them. At the moment I'm lucky to have an A70 with older android and UI but I'm thinking of leaving Samsung after many years and products and not buy any other.

Useless update, I don't think so that Samsung care about this issue. I think we need to switch to another phone brand. They customer service care is useless. Replacing a screen with a genuine as they claim can fix the issue as they say but buying a new screen is too much expensive.

I got lucky, The person I bought the second hand s21 ultra let me return it and I bought a s22 ultra off him instead.

The s22 is promoting me to upgrade to 6.1 but I'll stay in 6.0ceven though I don't think the s22 is affected by this issue.

You are lucky because your phone software version is A.

Most of us stuck because  our phone software version is B already. Unable to downgrade to 6.0.

Hope my explanation is clear. Those A version can downgrade. B version can forget already. Only change screen is only solution.

Exact same issue here, I got a new S21 one month ago (US version, Rakuten), did a One UI update this morning the screen touch is now totally unresponsive. 
So I'm left with no phone and no fix from Samsung yet. Unacceptable.

I contacted the Samsung support in France, they told me that they "forward my issue to their expert team who will come back to me very shortly to let me know how to fix it".

Confidence level that this will ever happen: 0.001%.

Same problem. I have done a roll back to version 6.0 and it works perfectly.  This morning 6.1 installed at 5pm and now my screen doesn't work.  My s pen works. Since April this bug isn't fixed. Someone has a solution? I have tried all the tips in Google. Lost my day because of 6.1!
