Moisture in port - Fixed

Solved: Read all the comments 

till end.

So am on holiday in India.

Charged my phone phone overnight as usual and now it want let me use the charger anymore as its giving me the 'moisture has been detected error.

Haven't got a wireless charger at the moment so not happy. 

Wouldn't even let me do a wipe cache .

Tried everything from the Internet so far no joy.

And the thing never got wet or anything which is weird.

So I am back from my holidays from India
And guess what?

The moisture notification has miraculously disappeared same way it started and I seem to be able to charge my phone again via the USB after having to wireless charge it all throughout my holiday.

Wondering whether samsung is Messing with the phone via location 🤔

Something fishy is going on.

Hi @GoanGeek, great to hear your phone isn't showing the notification on the phone now that you're back from India. Hope you had a great time while you were on holiday. There's nothing fishy going on with the phone as this can appear if the phone is exposed to environments with high humidity, and it's enabled for the safety of your phone. Still seems a bummer that it wouldn't let me charge via usb and only wirelessly for the whole duration I was there and now it's back to normal out of the blue.

Definitely software/location related. I've the same issue. Comes and goes in different locations. Big Brother stuff!!

UPDATE

1. So my phone doesn't fast charge anymore.

Takes over 2 hours to charge ( I charge overnight so not really any issue)

2. It only charges one way, so I have to flip the usb charger if it didn't charge one side ( which is odd).

Not sure if the pins on one side got damaged while cleaning it.

Update 2

The phone is back to normal.

Fast charging and everything.

It seems to have broken and healed itself.

Maybe its a samsung safety feature. 🤔

Still I wasn't happy it happened during my holidays .
