When I receive text message they display the time received, When I select them to display details I understand that the time sent stamp should be displayed but it is missing. How can I see when a message was sent.

Isn't this normal behaviour? How would a receiver know when a message was sent if it hasn't received it yet? I don't think that meta data is included in SMS?
It's like if I send you a letter (not recorded), you know you got it on Wednesday, but you don't know if I sent it on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday.

When a message is sent a time stamp will be automatically included to the meta data. The sender's messaging app will add this stamp. It's not rocket science. ;o)
"Text messages come with a variety of metadata. Some examples include: Sender and Receiver Information: This includes the phone numbers of both the sender and the receiver. Date and Time: The date and time the message was sent and possibly when it was received or opened."

No, I'm afraid it's different on Samsung messaging.

That showed me!
I can see it if I hold the message on Google Messages, but unsure on Samsung Messages.
