Latest update has broken my photo editor

Any time I edit a photo in my gallery the app freezes with the progress wheel and no matter how long I give it to load (even 15+ minutes) it never successfully completes the task. Normally would take 2-3 seconds. Is anyone else experiencing this too?? Is there any fix?

Could be the update.

Either clear the app cache or wait for the next update.

Also keep checking for app updates in both stores

Did clearing the phone's System Partition Cache Files Section help at all ?

Same problem, it just keeps on loading and nothing happens, sometimes the pictures also gets corrupted.

Has anybody found a solution? (Im using a galaxy a55)

Just had the same problem, updated to 6.1 and now my photo editor is not responding, it can edit videos, only problem is photos, anyone solved this?
