The ever unreliable S21+ now vibrates after starting but the screen remains black and unresponsive.

Obviously this is just outside warranty. ( A favourite time period to die for a lot of Samsung products )

I am very happy about this and celebrated by throwing it around in a destructive test, apart from the back cover cracking up it survived well.

Meanwhile I am happy to return to a Nokia 8.3 with March 23 update from Google and Android 12.

It's such a pleasure to use after that absolute dog 💩 S21.

Nice to be using something that simply works as it should.

So farewell Samsung products and people, an old flagship Nokia is enough for me and a fraction of the price. We all fall into the bells and whistles and must have features you won't use or even tell the difference with tech trap.

💩 💩 💩

@Egg1  Did you try much Troubleshooting before becoming irate  (if no hyperbole involved here).   For instance did you attempt charging, forced restart, entering safe Mode/Recovery Mode and wiping cache partition  or Factory Reset if necessary. There could be an issue with the Battery mind you.

Anyway  if you indeed decide to downgrade hope the Nokia is good enough for you 😊

Everything has been tried since 5 update, including specialist examination who said, phones fine, it's a software issue.

Factory's reset and clean install didn't help, been a nightmare.

As Samsung announced they won't be fixing one UI 5 until next January unless it's critical I don't hold out much hope.

Not just my phone with problems.

[redacted]😉

The end for S21 is near.

Latest update came, screen went.

I honestly would have been fuming. I would have demanded a replacement handset as yours seemed like it wasn't fit for purpose. Honestly if they couldn't fix I would not have stopped until I got a new device. As I said before I had great experience with my s21 ultra. I'm sure you had a faulty device.

@Egg1  Appreciate there have been some problems but not universal, I have not had many issues with my S21 Ultra and is currently running pretty smoothly.

@Fiona26  Instinct would be more likely to be faulty device/battery but apparently  specialist examination found no fault with phone , blaming software.
