Hi

Since the latest update on my S10plus I keep getting a notification about Gear VR not being supported and to uninstall it, I press uninstall but it just lists Facebook stuff and says done, but then I have to update Facebook and log in etc, then the next morning the message that it is not supported is back. Anybody know how to get rid of this please?

TO ALL: I just managed to get through to Samsungs Live chat support. Nice person, but, put short, he could do nothing if the collegues/development doesnt help him. He promised to "bring the issue" to them, but I got the impression, that i'll hear a PLONK if i'm the only one contacting Samsung. The do NOT read this forum, nor support it.
SO: If we are to get a fix to this, all of you have to contact Samsung, so that they can see how widespread the problem is. Use https://www.samsung.com/support/livechat/ , have patience but demand to get a solution to the problem.

Hi. What software update is this?

Is it a security update for February 2022?

Kindly share the version.

Thanks

Thanks.

I haven't yet received this update. Probably will come in the next few days.

Just saw that I have the same update. But the notification is once again back.

So frustrating 😫

If it is a fix, wouldn't support know? Their standard reply is "not our problem" even if it came with the update.

I've just contacted Samsung Support chat.....Joyce was very helpful and suggested a 'soft reset' (hold down the  power button & volume down  button) until the screen goes black.

So far so good - the pop up has gone . Waiting to see if it reappears in the morning
