Every morning an alarm will go off and cat turn off

Ghost alarm on phone goes off yet no alarm set no notification can't turn off can't mute have to turn off phone and restart every day

@Shez1962: Does the alarm sound at the same time every day? To be sure that the alarm isn't set in the Clock app, please try heading to Settings > Apps > Clock > Force stop > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device. Next time it goes off, try heading to Settings > Notifications > Recently sent, and check here to see if any app notifications are listed at the time the alarm sounded. 

You may also wish to restart the phone in Safe Mode, as this will disable all third party apps, and help to determine if the problem is stemming from an external source. To enter Safe Mode, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode. If the alarm doesn't sound while in Safe Mode, restart your phone as you would normally and remove any recently added applications.

Sorry to hear about this problem, but I'm more concerned about your cat turning off! Are you sure it's not just having a "cat-nap"? 🤣🤣

Hi Andrew I have tried all these things and it still goes off at the same time every morning.
The only way I can stop it is by restarting the phone

My stupid S20fe is doing this, been four days now 7pm alarm ringing for 60 seconds, phone vibrating constantly until phone dies or I restart it.  I don't have alarms set up at this time!!  I don't have my sound turned on for phone calls/ notifications/ system and no vibration setting on.

My (S22) alarm has suddenly started going every morning at 6:30. I never use my phone alarm usually (I have a lumie alarm) so it was not set. I can switch it off but it is loud and jarring. I force stop/ clear cache etc the alarm icon dissapears and restart my phone the little alarm icon is back next to my battety percentage. But nothing in notifications when I pull them down.

This is EXACTLY what is happening on my Tab S8! I NEVER set an alarm on my tablet. Now, every morning at 630a a jarring alarm goes off - loud enough to wake the house! Grrr! I checked last night in the clock app (I've never used Modes or Routines on my tablet either), and it showed "No Alarms Set," then at 630a it's screaming at me! WT...??? Super frustrating!

Yeah, I started to have the same problem too. It's 6.00 a.m. for me though. Super annoying if you're looking forward to sleeping in 😕

edit: I checked the Bixby modes as mentioned in this thread and although I've never set a sleeping mode it is not "not set" like the others. So I opened it, went through the setup and turned off the alarm. Hoping that fixes it.

Samsung S6 Tab lite here. I managed to take a screenshot of mine but it's been so annoying. I even tried to manually set time to 5:59 a.m. to see what was going on but it rings every time. Samsung, please help!

That really fixed it - no alarm today 🎉 The sleep mode seems to automatically add an alarm (which it didn't do in the past) that isn't displayed in the clock app - very weird design choice, but oh well.
