DEX support for docks

Has Samsung removed DEX support for docks? I've tried two separate dock connections now and can't get DEX to start or display on either. But a direct connection from USB C to HDMI works fine.

Just got this to work! Must be a dodgy connection on my mobile.

Yeah. I was going to say that I still have a dex dock from my Galaxy S8 and which I use regularly.

This has served me well with S8+, S10+, S21 ultra and nowadays the S23 ultra.

It still works like a charm... although not 'officially' supported past the S10.

It is great to be able to connect external keyboard, mouse and HDMI monitor all to the dock and then just with a simple phone connected into the dock and it springs into life and turns into a fairly capable PC environment.

The dock even has a cooling fan.

These are very cheap to buy now. I would recommend to anyone with a samsung monoblock from the past 6 or more years.

Oh wow. I didn't know there was an official product! I just have a dock from Amazon that can either be powered from mains (USB C) or by the connected device. It has another C for data, two regular USB and one HDMI out

Yes as the newer devices get Power Delivery, Picture and Sound through a USB if used with a compatible monitor.

I'd say Samsung made it easier, I prefer it to the old dock and DEX HDMi to USB.
