Hello Samsung Team,
I would like to respectfully request that Samsung consider extending software support for the Galaxy S21 FE, even if only by one additional Android/One Ul version or extended security updates.
The Galaxy S21 FE still has flagship-level hardware
(Exynos 2100/ Snapdragon 888) that remains fully capable of running newer Android versions smoothly. Many users continue to rely on this device as their primary phone, and performance remains strong.
Samsung has recently introduced a 7-year update policy for newer Galaxy and FE models. While we understand that this policy may not be retroactive, the S21 FE belongs to the same "Fan Edition" lineup, and the difference in long-term support creates inconsistency within the FE brand.
Extending software and security updates would also align with Samsung's sustainability and environmental goals. Ending support for a fully functional device encourages unnecessary upgrades and contributes to electronic waste.
Finally, continued security updates are important for user safety, especially for banking, payments, and personal data protection. Even an extension of security updates would greatly benefit long-term
users.
The Galaxy S21 FE was marketed as a fan-focused device, and extending its support would be a strong goodwill gesture that reinforces customer loyalty and trust in Samsung.
Thank you for taking this feedback into consideration.
