Ive got a fast charger for my s20+ and the charging is working perfectly
However whenever I use a normal cable charging it says 7hrs to charge

I have tried with different cables and different plugs and it seems that the issue is only with cable charging.

Fast charging works perfectly with the brick.

The port has no issues

I need the cable charging for work as I use the cigarette port to charge my phone but this issue has just come yesterday

I have wiped cache checked battery and everything.
Any fixes.

Im not sure what you are exactly talking about? You say it charges perfectly with a fast charger but when you use a normal cable it says 7hrs to charge? Well you are using a cable with the fast charger and you say it works perfectly.

So can you explain more clearly what the issue is? You mention a cigarette port, fast charging brick, etc. Have you considered the cigarette port is the problem? It sounds like it's not working correctly and drip charging. Why not get another fast charging brick for work instead?

Hi, Not sure I understand completely but it sounds like everything is fine if you use a fast charger and compatible cable from a mains outlet but when you charge from an adapter in a cigar socket it charges very slowly. That doesn't surprise me - the adapter and cigar socket in my car only charges my phone at a slow rate, presumably because my adapter doesn't have the logic to negotiate with the phone and switch charging voltages and currents. I've measured mine at 1.2A and I presume it's a fixed 5V. I believe there are fast charge adapters for cigar lighters but you'd need to check it supports the protocol your phone expects such as USB PD. Hope this helps!
