That guide in xda developers forum is for the U.S.A. and Canada, Snapdragon country variants and will not be suitable for the global Exynos, G99*B, models that we use in the U.K. and will, "brick", them.
As it states in the first post... "This is only for SM-G998U/U1/W"

what the hell are you doing. I am keeping to tell you not to flash the software because you will not unbrand it but you will need to also root it with possible issues if you do not know what to install and where to get it.
Also the guide you pulled out is for the US model so if you flash that software you could potentially hard brick your device (a hard brick means you will need to get a new logic board).
Follow this steps in this guide and disable carrier only apps to not have to bother with them.

samkey is showing that all 3 of the global Exynos models, SM-G99*B, are not supported for changing the CSC code.

at the current state in the art since like a year or two it is almost impossible to unbrand a device with the csc change also without rooting hence why I am not recommending
