So a few months ago I left a thread hoping Samsung would see it,there were quite a few replies from other consumers agreeing with the point I was making.

See the report of Annual General Meeting with the shareholders Samsung's Chip Division...
https://r2.community.samsung.com/t5/Others/Exynos-990-vs-Snapdragon-865-in-S20-Series/td-p/3922039
"Countries having access to Snapdragon865 in S20 series
1. United States
2. China
3. Japan
4. Latin America
Countries where exynos 990 of S20 series are sold
1. South Korea
2. Europe
3. Asia and Rest of the world"
I would hope that you would agree that Samsung, above all, should know which countries/regions have their Exynos chip and which have Snapdragon.

So, you agree that the Exynos chipset is the majority one used by Samsung in most countries.
The answer as to why Samsung does not use either Exynos or Snapdragon in all countries of the world is complicated and in part is because of certain countries networks, costs and licensing.
This article attempts to explain some of the issues...
