Whatsapp voice messages are not recording

I'm having issues with WhatsApp voice messages sometimes are not recording anything, it shows as flat dots with nothing in the messages, although I've recorded a voice message. 

It's very annoying as I would only find out once I've finished recording the message when it shows as flat dots with nothing have been recorded at all. I've restarted the phone many times and updated phone, ad well as WhatsApp. The issue is getting worse!! This issue extends to videos not playing on WhatsApp at times too!

Did any one find any solution? I just updated my phone with January security update but issue is still there.

No unfortunately, the issue keeps getting worse on my phone after the updates. I called Samsung and reported the issue as advised in a previous comment. However, no solution until now!

I recommend reporting to Samsung and letting them know, as when I called them they said they never heard of the issue!!

They need to hear from more of us to know there is an issue they need to fix! This is their number: 03330000333

if Samsung doesn't respond and resolve these issues within a few days, I'm leaving Samsung and will publish these issues on all all my social media. This issue has been ongoing for months and it literally happens numerous times a day now. That's absolutely disgusting from Samsung

It must be an issue with the phone then. I have the same phone. Samsung isn't bothering themselves to do anything about it. I'm no longer going to stay with Samsung considering this rubbish customer service

Have same issue had Samsung at my house paid £19:95 for the service. 2nd repair at Samsung shop replaced software 3rd repair new motherboard now Samsung wa t my phone for 10 working days to see if they cam replace the phone had my phone data reset 3 times Samsung a joke look at the 8.2k of bad reviews on trustpilot ! Speaks volumes !

Wow!! All this money you spent and the hassle you had to go through, when Samsung shouldn't even have that issue on their phones. Its like we're suffering because of their phone issue and on top of that you had to experience all this too!

I have told them that I will never buy a Samsung product again, and I always bought premium Samsung tvs 📺 never again. They are awful to deal with .

Did they try to do anything about it when you told them this? I have been chasing them back and forth since December about this issue!

I have been told it's a bug in their software that can not be resolved .
