Seems perfectly reasonable.

Reduces risk of data loss and therefore data breaches. I think most companies should do similar.

Companies like Google are already implementing it for emails etc.
Standard security protocols and helps companies get rid of ghost accounts and free up space on their servers.🙏

Yes I agree with the comments, 👍

It makes sense for big tech corps like Samsung to implement something like this as @GoanGeek said to free up their server

Tbh what their doing is correct. Reduces data breaches, but they also take security seriously. Plus it reduces the risk of companies getting fined.

10 years ago I requested to completely delete my Facebook account. To this day, I occasionally get a message from Facebook asking me to check my settings and blah, blah. What it is on the internet, it is indelible forever. No matter how much they tell you the opposite

yes it is a good move ,think companies in general need to be more proactive in terms of security protocols

Really good idea, google has the same thing but the user has to activate it themselves

No, Google sent emails two years ago about the planned deletion of inactive accounts, regardless of settings. If you don't want to lose your account, you have to log in to gmail at least once every two years.

Aaah, they did that in 2023. I probably setup "inactive account manager" before then
