Improvement: Please improve the 'Hide status bar' in Samsung Internet app
Samsung Internet app > Layouts and menus > Hide status bar
Hello Samsung Internet app devs, could you guys please Target SDK 35.
I already use the "Hide status bar" option of the app which I love, however there are often overlaps at the top of some webpage due to perceived lack of Android "Insets"
Btw, this same Edge-to-Edge implementation could also be baked in to my other idea of expanding the One UI "Full screen apps" and adding a FORCE ability for any installed app (which would override whatever individual app developer chooses, as some app developers have abandoned development of some apps).
Below I have attached these two YouTube shorts which put everything in a nutshell:

Idea: Two Ultrasonic Fingerprint readers - just like Vivo phones from years ago.
Samsung could consider the proven innovation of implementing TWO Ultrasonic fingerprint readers into their top-tier devices.
Great use cases for this could be Husband and Wife, co-worker and co-worker.
Two separate unique fingerprints on one device to lock away files, treasured memories etc.

Request: A One UI system setting to be able control Recent apps (Recents activity)
It would be really great if we had a system setting to be able to override master control which apps can show in the RECENTS screen.
I am aware that 3rd party app developers can control their own apps and exclude them from the Recents screen.
https://developer.android.com/guide/components/activities/recents#removing
However for some apps and older apps with less communicative devs, it would be nice to be able to EXCLUDE last used app sessions from being kept in the Recents screen.
Allowing this proposed setting, would allow One UI Android users to always automatically open a new session of the app whenevet launching any app. It would cut out issues with some apps that present issues or delays on startup due to loading last session.

Idea suggestion: Timing options (seconds) for whenever the Status Bar has to auto-hide during any Full screen view
It would be great if there was some timing options (5 secs, 10 secs, 15 secs etc) in the Settings (Full screen apps and split screen) for whenever we manually pull down to view the hidden status bar whilst in Fullscreen mode of any app. As it currently stands in One UI 5.1 there is no such option. Perhaps this could come in any update after One UI 7.xx
=============
Idea: Separation line at the bottom of the status bar could have a blur.
This is just an idea based on a recent Reddit comment to One UI 7.0 beta that someone made, linked here:

Galaxy S26 Ultra and the future of S Pen
Yes that's right lol 😂 I wrote S26 of 2026 next year.
After hearing the devastibv news about the recently released Galaxy S25 Ultra loosing some functionalities of the S Pen, let be one of the crowd to say that this is very sad news.
Could I suggest in future to full restore these and for the Bluetooth function and it's sofware features to be moved over to GoodLock app?
Thanks.

One UI suggestion: A user-option to force Full screen on any and all apps installed
I'm having difficulty with my One UI status bar setting and the installed Chrome. Just like the linked Reddit page below, Chrome likes to ignore my One UI setting of "show camera cut out" that I specifically applied to Chrome.
I dislike the black Status bar at the top whenever apps such as Chrome are in use. Furthermore, for just about any app with scroll able content, I love being able to fully exploit the Edge-to-Edge display of the top of my phone screen.
However there's some positivity to note that Chrome and all other apps do respect a hidden status bar during a Split Screen, when Chrome is at the top of the Split Screen with the split screen setting enabled.
Could we please have a true "Force Full Screen on all apps" type of setting which would be based on what can already be used in Split Screen view. It's wanted for normal view (non-split screen).
Obviously with a forced Full Screen for all or any installed app I choose, this would mean that the Status Bar would have to be manually swiped down to peek at it...Could I further suggest that there be some user options for the timing Seconds delay (2 secs, 5 secs, 10 secs etc) in which the Status Bar remains visible once swiped down in Full Screen view. This makes sense.

Feature request idea: Status Bar to 'scroll away out of sight' when scrolling upwards + colour adapting Status Bar
Along the same lines of Hiding status and Full screen apps comes another idea in where the Status Bar could be made scroll adaptable and colour matching like the way some websites do it, thus allowing the Status bar to be scrolled out of sight. This is to enjoy the beautiful notch.
Furthermore, ideally the behaviour with this 'scroll-away status bar' would be that the Status bar scrolls away upwards out of site.
That is the Status bar would behave like a sea anchor and would anchor still and would prevent the ActionBar of an app from moving further.
This is covered in this topic:

Request: SmartThings app should include a user-option to Auto Refresh all devices just once upon each opening of app
Certain smart devices from different vendors within SmartThings app sometimes appear Offline even when they aren't truly offline.
I often find myself doing a manual pull-down refresh to 'wake up' the device back to normal availability status which does work.
It would be great if there was an Auto Refresh feature within SmartThings that once enabled would only run once on each new opening of the SmartThings app. This would include opening the SmartThings app from home screen, Recent apps screen, widgets etc.
