Another vote for app search bar at the top (or give users a choice between top/bottom). I remember years ago when it started on the bottom and then moved to the top and I had to get used to it and now it's back on the bottom again. Quit forcing us to relearn how to use our devices and just give us a choice.
Also, remove the notification bar limit that was recently added. Or, again, just offer a choice. There is plenty of room for more than 3 notifications along the top bar. I have 2 always-present notifications that I like to be up there, so I'm effectively limited to only seeing 1 additional notification before everything becomes hidden with just a dot. This often causes me to miss notifications because I glance at my phone to see if there's anything important and if I don't see certain icons on the bar, then I assume I don't have any texts, calls, work messages, etc.
Bottom line, give us a choice in things. Push out whatever design changes you want, even set them as default and apply them automatically during updates. But please leave the option to undo them for those of us that want to.
