I've just updated the Samsung Health App, and in the previous versions it used to track and show me my actual body temperature (i.e. like 36.2degC). However with this new update it is now telling me only Temperature Changes (i.e. +0.2degC) compared to some 'Recent Average' value. It doesn't tell me what that 'Recent Average' value is, so I have no way of knowing that physical body temperature it's reading.
Is there a way to change this back to display the actual body temperature, or at least show that the Recent Average' value is to be able to work it out?

Thanks for adding this to the thread. I sent them a report again this morning explaining that many users would find more value in a $10 thermometer than $100 plus watch or ring considering many were using this feature for bbt tracking.

You're not exaggerating! It's as if they did zero research into what their female users need. Although... Fitbit finally worked out an integration option in Fertility Friend, and that's also just with + and - rather than actual temps. That surprised me a great deal, and did not make me switch back to my old Fitbit because I simply wanna see the actual temps. Even though I know that the skin temps differ a bit from the temps I take with my $10 thermometer. Temps mean something to me. +0.2 and -0.4, and the wavy line those values give, don't mean anything to me in this context

Thanks for posting this. I guess we'll see if they actually add the option they mentioned. Hope they follow through.

Based on their lack of response I truly believe they are hoping for it to be swept under the rug. With them having put a notice out through the app last Friday stating why they changed temperature, I don't think we will see much change. They are trying to compete with other companies and thus trying to align what they have to be closer in relation to those. That being said, if you have old data points saved you could try to do something like I did where I fed them to chatgpt to get a "baseline." Is it accurate absolutely not, but with the data that is being provided I'm at least able to feed it to chatgpt to see a rise and fall comparable to what I was getting before. The information in app looks like a straight line, whereas chatgpt actually gives a curve. Not only that, but I'm able to see that the data points in app are incorrect for ovulation etc. now based on what they actually were. Is this an answer, no. Will everyone be able to do that, not unless they were moving data from the app previously to another tracker. So needless to say anyone that recently bought devices hoping to track old school, are essentially left looking at the data wondering what the heck. And before anyone states the obvious, it needs to be reported to the company... It has been on numerous occasions.
