Samsung A8 star user here - External USB microphone not working on most app

Hi

I not sure if it something to do with the recent System updates.
Most recording app like bandlab was not working with external USB mic anymore, i couldnt use my mic to whatapp call but i can use whatapp record. Google voice recognition couldnt detect any voice from the mic either. But i could record with Voice recorder app that come with phone and Video recording.
Tried restart and reinstall the app and checked with permission manager. But couldnt fixed the issues.

wonder if anyone have the same issue?

No. I tried downloaded other recording app but nothing seem work. Only app that worked is those come inside the phone.😅

Samsung screwed everybody with the a8, and maybe other models also.

They are, quite literally "jack offs"

I updated my system software two weeks ago and my external mic, plugged into my 3.5mm jack doesn't work. 

I went and bought a splitter, audio+mic splitter, and it did not work either. 

Then, as a last resort, I ordered a "samsung" brand external mic plugin adaptor for a micro usb, and guess what!

yeah, it didn't work.

Samsung Galaxy has absolutely screwed my ability to make viable content for my Youtube and Facebook channels.

If you're listing Samsung, go ***** yourself! 

I was in the market for the S20, but not anymore. Not after this little stunt.
