Hello I have an issue with 2 devices, my Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy S21+. Both are running on Android 15 /One Ui 7. I have face recognition and fingerprint set up to open both devices from their lockscreens, and for as long as I have owned the two devices, I have become accustomed to entering the password every 72 hours. However in the past three weeks, I am now be asked for the password on the Tab and S21+ several times a day maybe four or five times in an hour. The face recognition and fingerprint still work fine when there are on lockscreen but for the majority of the time they don't appear. I have changed the password on both devices, removed all of the biometrics and started from scratch, and I'm yet I'm still being asked for these passwords instead of biometrics to get pass the lock screen 20+ times a day. |

Update***
Just for anyone experiencing this problem, this might help.
I have a Work Profile on my phone and Tab, in the Work profile security settings on both devices I had toggled on Use one lock, the description reads: 'Use one lock for both your work profile and and your Lock screen.' I toggled this off on both devices, in the same menu I set a password in Work profile lock for each device, there are options available to use biometrics for my work profile but I haven't set that up.
This seems to have fixed the problem on both my Tab and phone (fingers crossed). It's been 24 hours, and I have been able to unlock both devices using biometrics without having to enter passwords several times a day.
